Precious Cat Senior litter has a small particle size that cats prefer. Not all of my cats are seniors yet, but this litter absorbs urine on contact and traps it inside the crystal to prevent bacterial growth, thus helping to prevent urinary tract infections. Its small particle size coat and dehydrate cat feces to reduce odor and prevent bacterial growth of E-Coli. E-Coli bacteria grow on feces and along with reduced natural body defenses can lead to kidney failure, urinary and uterine infections. Precious Cat Senior has no organic material such as wheat, pine, corn and paper that can support bacteria and fungal growth, there by helping to prevent urinary infections. I think all these preventative measures in this litter is great for ALL cats, old or young!

I use it more as a 'preventative' measure though. Once a week I sprinkle some into each litter box, to me it hopefully will keep them coming back!

It's a leading reason why cats are abused, abandoned and put in shelters. My JuJu had problems of not using the box consistently until I got Cat Attract! It is remarkable how much she and the other 3 cats LOVE this litter! The litter is not too fine, so I truly have not experienced a bad tracking problem either! The only problem I do find is this litter isn't the greatest at clumping, that is the one piece I do dislike.

Good choice for a non-pellet type litter. I love the fact that it is a 'natural' & 'healthy' type litter. When all 4 of my cats strictly used this litter, there was too much tracking through our home though due to it's 'fine' texture. Would be ideal for a 1-2 cat home.
(*As a word of caution: From my own personal experience, I've had a bad situation from flushing litter. Feline Pine & World's Best state they are flushable, but I would not recommend flushing ANY litter. Flushable litter unfortunately clogged our pipes. Feline Pine and World's Best are both biodegrabable which means they will NOT fill up landfills if thrown away, but break down into our earth's surface-which is wonderful)

Litter that is trapped in their paws falls through the grid into the collection tray. Once trapped in the tray, it can never be retracked again!
Cat hops onto the top of litterbox and steps down inside through the opening. Cat takes care of business and exits through the the same opening. When exiting across built-in tracking mat, litter is removed from cat's paws.
I LOVE this litter box! We would have problems at times with our biggest kitty, Bella having her butt face OUT of the front entry covered litter boxes. And yes....pee go OUTSIDE the box instead! Ugh! What a mess. So I tried the Top Loading Litter box and now no possibilities of an accidental mess and it DOES track less litter!

Our Vet discussed with me the importance of feeding the kitties a 'Grain-Free' diet. Our Bella, I like to say has a slow metabolism, like her meowmie! She can shoot up to over 18lbs in a very short time. To keep her weight in check, she does have to eat a diet food. *Calorie Control by Royal Canin is the only diet food we have found success with Bella on. When eaten consitently she can keep her weight around 15lbs. We do let her nibble some of the EVO dry, because dry is her absolute fave, but to keep her at a healthy weight, it's the canned Calorie Control! (*food can only be purchased thru your vet)
I loved this food! It is all natural and so good for your kitties! I had to stop using it though because my Simba has to be on 'Special' prescription food due to him being prone to Urinary Tract Infections. We purchase the prescription food below........

Don't Declaw-get sticky Paws! Protects your furniture, is double-sided sticky and transparent! Is not harmful to cats or furniture. Also good for keeping kitty off counter, tables, etc.
I have used the "Boundary" in the pink can (and the pump type to the left of it) Great for keeping my cats away from such things as: Dried flower arrangements & Decorations at holiday time. Product does have a strong odor and only lasts about 24 hours so I only use when necessary.
Bitter Apple is the powerful taste deterrent invented by a Pharmacist in 1960. I spray on my house plants so my kitties won't chew on them - It sure works!!
