Can you share your dinner with your cat? Not always. Cats are carnivores and must get their protein from animal sources. Here are 20 people foods that ARE NOT for cats:
1. Chocolate As little as a 16-oz candy bar can kill a cat. The darker and more bitter the chocolate, the more dangerous.
2. Milk or cream can be dangerouse for cats if your cat can not digest dairy products properly.
3. Avoid cheese if your cat is dairy intolerant.
4. Uncooked bread dough can cause gastric bloating and severe intoxication-and a visit to the vet.
5. Baby food does not meet a cat's nutritional needs and may contain anemia-causing onion powder.
6. A tiny amount of onion can be added to cat foods for flavor, but large amounts can harm your cat's red blood cells.
7. Cooked goldfish is a no-no.
8. Raw fish in large quantities can cause vitamin deficiencies.
9. Cooked fish can contain toxins from polluted waters and should be given rarely.
10. People tuna is not a balanced diet for cats.
11. Fish bones are more dangerous to cats than any other bones.
12. Avoid turkey and chicken bones unless cooked in a pressure cooker.
13. Avoid table scraps.
14. Raw or undercooked eggs can contain salmonella
15. Avoid raw liver
16. Seasonings and preservatives: Furr-get about them.
17. Fats, salt and sugar the same things you shouldn't eat can cause obesity, tooth decay and digestive problems in cats.
18. A vegetarian diet is not for cats. They are carnivores.
19. Avoid coffee, cola, tea and other caffeinated foods.
20. Don't give dog food to cats.

1. Plain boiled meat or chicken (no bones).

4. Boiled or scrambled eggs, well-done.

6. Cooked liver - as a rare treat.
Intelligence: The cat is smarter than any dog and is just behind the chimpanzee in IQ. With the chimpanzee, the cat is the only other animal with the ability to learn by observing the behavior of other creatures.
Leave it to the Cat: Years ago in the Ozarks, when a young woman was undecided on whether or not to accept a marriage proposal, she would take three hairs from a cat's tail, wrap them in paper, and put them under her doorstep. The next morning, she would unfold the paper carefully, trying not to disturb the hairs. If they were arranged in a formation similar to a Y, she would accept the proposal. If they more closely resembled an N, her young man would have to look elsewhere for a wife.

Do cats have a sixth sense?

Most spoiled cat: Cherry Pop, a beautiful red persian, is probably the most spoiled cat in the U.S. Her 14th birthday party was a black-tie affair celebrated aboard a chartered yacht with 150 guests at a cost of $20,000 for the evening.
